Q & A
Question
Answer
I am based out of Minneapolis, MN! And YES! Couples do, and have, traveled to me for shoots. It has proven to be a sweet getaway for them often times.
My shoots are not based around getting a certain image or picture (unless the couple specifically requests one). It is about YOU and your significant other interacting, laughing, or being vulnerable with one another. There is no formula for people and definitely not for how you love your person. I live by the philosophy that everyone has a different story, and it is the most beautiful honor to capture it.
Think of your time with me as a date for the two of you! So take the pressure off to “perform” and know that there is space for you to just simply be.
Second Photographers can be added to every package at an additional cost. I’ve found that I can completely capture a wedding day, by myself with how well I space out your timeline.
I found a majority of my second shooters through Instagram and then mutual connections. All of the people who I have alongside me or as an associate on wedding days are TRUSTED!
Lifestyle/Portrait sessions are anywhere from 45mins to 2 hours.
Wedding packages vary - there are a few packages to choose from but I am more than willing to work with most timelines. I fully believe that weddings shouldn’t be limited or time stamped - there are several unique situations and not just one way to celebrate your wedding day.
From small elopements to larger wedding days, there is room for all!
Each one of my packages varies in how many images are delivered, but I promise I’ll always include plenty of images of everything I capture. I refuse to withhold memories from you, as these are precious and defining moments, so I do not give a limit to the amount of photos you receive. A good rule of thumb is to expect 75-100 per hour of coverage.
2 weeks for lifestyle/portrait sessions - 60-75 days for weddings - sneak peek galleries within 24-48 hours.
Typically I say that neutrals or warm tones are best because they are timeless. When you look back on your photos, I want you to cherish them and not question your outfit choice! However, if thats just not your style, I’d rather you be you!
It’s good to wear something you can move around in and be picked up in easily as well. I’d say, “comfy cute” is a good goal!
Yes, I have a cap of 20 weddings per year. Connection with my couples is most important to me. And I refuse to overbook myself and neglect the hearts of those who have entrusted me with their day. This allows me to truly get to know each of the couples I get to work with in order to better capture THEM on their wedding day.
Most photographers would call it “Photojournalistic”. But I tell all of my clients that I’m there to capture your day as it is with a healthy mix of posed photos mixed in. I find that most clients need a little more direction on their day, so I aim to capture both!
